Participant Code of Conduct Charter

Respect & Inclusion

  • Participants must treat all fellow participants, iungo representatives, and visitors with respect and dignity at all times.
  • iungo promotes fairness and social justice; therefore, any form of discriminatory abuse or harassment based on race, gender, age, disability, neurodiversity, or religion is strictly prohibited.
  • Respecting others is a core requirement; bullying, intimidation, or victimisation in any form will not be tolerated.

Safety and Safeguarding

  • All participants have a responsibility to contribute to a safe learning culture.
  • Participants must report any safeguarding concerns, including suspicions of abuse, neglect, or harm, to a iungo representative immediately.
  • If you feel unsafe or witness behaviour that is harmful to yourself or others, you are encouraged to share these concerns so they can be resolved quickly.

Digital Safety & Online Conduct

  • This Code of Conduct applies to all interactions, whether in person, virtually, or via any method of communication.
  • Participants must use digital platforms responsibly and refrain from cyberbullying or the unauthorised sharing of media that may reveal the identity of others.
  • Accessing or sharing extremist or harmful content on iungo-managed systems is strictly prohibited in line with our Prevent Duty.

Professional Conduct & British Values

  • Participants are expected to act in a way that aligns with fundamental British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect.
  • Any behaviour that promotes extremism or radicalisation is a breach of this code and will be handled via the statutory Prevent pathway.
  • Participants must ensure that any position of influence is exercised responsibly within the learning community to maintain trust and respect.

Reporting & Support

  • If you believe this Code of Conduct has been breached, or if you have a concern about a iungo representative, you may use the formal Complaints Procedure or report concerns confidentially.
  • iungo is committed to listening to your concerns and providing the necessary support and guidance to help you achieve your full potential.
