iungo is an approved delivery partner for CSConnected’s Sparking STEM Futures, delivering semiconductor and green skills outreach to schools across South Wales.

Upskill to deliver the new WJEC Suite of Level 2 Semiconductor Qualifications to young people aged 12+ in Wales.

By fostering strong collaborations between education providers, local authorities, and industry leaders, the initiative aims to build a resilient, inclusive talent pipeline capable of supporting this critical and growing sector.

iungo has been contracted to deliver STEM Outreach in South Wales, including School Taster Workshops, STEM Clubs containing a Level 2 WJEC Qualification, and Teacher CPD for semiconductors.

What’s available in 2026?

iungo Solutions are expanding delivery of our Sparking STEM Futures Outreach across the Cardiff Capital Region (CCR) and Swansea Bay Region. We’re partnering with Secondary Schools in these regions to scale up our WJEC Accredted STEM Clubs and provide WJEC Accredited CPD for teachers.

STEM Clubs

In 2026, we’re heading into schools across the region to deliver STEM Clubs during Saturday and Half-Term breaks.

Our STEM Clubs are available to young people aged 11 – 18 and come in two flavours:

  • Semiconductor Skills Club
  • Green Skills Club

Young people will achieve a WJEC Level 2 Award in Semicondcutors, or a WJEC Level 2 Award in Sustainability through participating in one of our STEM Clubs.

Teacher CPD

New for 2026, we’ll be developing interactive teaching resources and delivering a series of fully-funded Teacher CPD sessions.

We’re upskilling Science, D&T, and Engineering Secondary Schools Teachers across South Wales to deliver the new WJEC Level 2 suite of Semiconductor qualifications, the first available in the UK.

Taught via a blended model, with a 1-day “Train the Trainer” workshop, teachers will achieve a WJEC Level 2 Certificate in Semiconductors through participating in one of our CPD programmes.
