The Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship is designed for Welsh employers seeking to upskill existing staff or recruit new talent into data-handling roles. It is ideal for adult learners and young people over 16 who wish to become proficient in collecting, organising, and visualising actionable business insights.

Delivery Model
- 6 months
- 6 technical workshops
- Monthly 1:1s with an experienced Data Analyst
- On-site / remote observations to gather evidence for portfolio
Qualification
- Agored Cymru Level 3 Diploma in Data Analytics (70 credits)
- Assessment is via assignments and a portfolio of work-based evidence. There are no examinations in this Apprenticeship.
Upon successful completion of the Level 3 Diploma, learners are qualified to progress to higher-level technical qualifications or pursue industry-specific vendor certifications, including:
- Level 4 Diploma in Data Analytics
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate
- AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate

The tuition fee for the standalone Diploma is £2,995 inclusive of VAT. You may be eligible for 100% funding to complete this qualification if you are:
- Aged 19 or above
- Living in Wales; and
- Employed or Self Employed
