Flexible Skills Programme
The Flexible Skills Programe is a specific support package for employers to maximise their L&D budgets and upskill their workforce for current and emerging technologies.
With Flexible Skills Funding, you don’t need settle for a rigid qualification. The Programme enables you to with us to design a bespoke accredited or recognised digital or green skills training programme to upskill your workforce with 50% funding available to maximise your investment.

Who its for
Funding is available to employers in Wales. Your business have an operating address in Wales, be solvent and you must commit to release staff to undertake the requested training by the end of the financial year (31st March).
Digital and Green Skills are the key priority areas for the Flexible Skills Programme. There is no requirement to use any particular training company, and you can apply for funding to cover bespoke training programmes. However, any training must be accredited or recognised to an industry standard. iungo can support you to develop an eligible training programme and make an application to Welsh Government to access Flexible Skills Funding.
Funding awards are discretionary and the final decision on eligibility rests with the Welsh Government.
How to apply
If you are an eligible business, you can apply for funding when you express an interest in any of our courses. The contract for funding will sit between Welsh Government and the business. Therefore it is essential that you receive confirmation of funding before your staff commence on their training course.
