We have multiple Tutor vacancies at iungo! As a logical thinker and an efficient worker, you will support the successful delivery of our employer-led, participant-centric learning programmes. You will bring a technical or professional specialism to plan, create, and review delivery materials that continuously improve performance and the participant experience.  

We are hiring across multiple disciplines and seniority levels (Tutor and Senior Tutor). Your role will span four key areas of responsibility: Content Creation, Delivery, Assessment, and Development. 

Scope of Disciplines

We are seeking instructional talent across the following core fields. Candidates should specialise in at least one of these areas:

  • Quantum Development
  • Software Development
  • Data Engineering & Analytics
  • Project Management
  • Leadership & Management
  • Lean Six Sigma

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Research & Design: Research technical and professional topics to develop innovative new materials.
  • Resource Development: Create supporting resources, including programme handbooks, video and written content, and quizzes.
  • Tailored Curation: Curate and tailor specific materials to fit various program deliveries and industry sectors.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside assessors and Learning Experience (LX) Designers to build authentic assessment tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review participant feedback regularly to iterate and improve content quality.
  • Senior Level Focus: Lead the curriculum design for new disciplines and mentor mid-level Tutors on material creation.

Delivery

  • Instructional Support: Support the Lead Tutor or lead your own cohorts in executing learning programmes.
  • Group Engagement: Lead icebreaker activities and tutor small breakout groups.
  • 1:1 Mentorship: Provide targeted, one-to-one support to participants to increase successful course outcomes.
  • Operational Management: Monitor attendance, follow up on participant absences, and provide first-line support for general queries.
  • Reporting: Report directly to the Programme Tutor on all aspects of delivery performance.
  • Community Building: Organise engaging, hackathon-style events and social activities for participants.

Assessments

  • Compliance: Uphold organisational policies and best practices regarding participant assessment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all assessment evidence strictly meets awarding organisation requirements.
  • Academic Integrity: Act as the first line of protection against plagiarism.
  • Tracking: Monitor assessment submissions and report progress metrics to the Programme Tutor.

Professional Development

  • Cross-Functional Projects: Participate in collaborative, internal, and client-facing development projects.
  • Team Support: Carry out development tasks to directly assist the Tech, Data & Automation team.
  • Technical Upskilling: Keep abreast of emerging technologies in your field and engage in active upskilling within your area of expertise.

Progression & Training Opportunities

We provide regular opportunities to develop your skills and undertake formal training in areas including:

  • Teaching & Assessment
  • Lean Six Sigma certifications
  • Advanced technical certifications relating to your specialism (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, or quantum framework certifications).

Sustained successful performance in this role will unlock clear pathways for progression into the following positions:

  • Software Developer / Data Scientist
  • Senior Tutor
  • Learning Experience Manager

Qualifications & Experience

  • Your core discipline (Software Development, Data Engineering, Project Management, Leadership & Management, Lean Six Sigma, or Quantum Development).
  • Relevant software tools, industry systems, and collaborative development methodologies used within your chosen field.
  • A higher level qualification in your core discipline is advantageous but not essential as we can support you to obtain this.

Skills & Knowledge

Candidates should possess some or most of the following skills and be willing to develop the remainder:

  • Creativity and innovation
  • Strong verbal communication, presentation, and report-writing skills
  • An organised, structured approach to tasks
  • Senior Level: Ability to manage cohorts, mentor junior delivery staff, and interface directly with corporate clients.
