We are seeking an empathetic, proactive, and highly skilled Employability Tutor to join our delivery team. This multifaceted role is crucial to the holistic success of our learners. You will empower participants and alumni by providing professional Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG), and deliver high-impact employability content across our core programmes.
Additionally, you will act as a vital pillar of learner support, taking responsibility for Additional Learning Needs (ALN) coordination and managing safeguarding referrals to ensure every learner has a safe, inclusive, and successful learning journey.
We are seeking a meticulous and highly organised Data & Compliance Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our learner onboarding and compliance ecosystem. You will manage the end-to-end processing of learner applications and enrolments, administer complex funding streams, and ensure absolute compliance with funding rules. A critical aspect of this role includes preparing rigorous audit files to satisfy regulatory bodies and inspectorates, including Ofsted and Estyn.

Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG)
- Provide high-quality, impartial CIAG to current learners and alumni to support their career progression, job search, and long-term professional development.
- Conduct 1-to-1 career coaching sessions, helping learners map out realistic career pathways, refine CVs, improve interview techniques, and build professional confidence.
- Track and report on alumni progression outcomes to measure the long-term impact of our training programmes.
Employability Delivery & Participant Progress
- Develop and deliver engaging, relevant employability workshops and content tailored to learners on longer-form programmes, including Skills Bootcamps and Apprenticeships.
- Create, review, and oversee robust Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), ensuring milestones are met and personal development goals are achieved.
- Conduct regular progress reviews with learners, providing constructive feedback and implementing interventions where learners are falling behind.
Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Coordination
- Act as the company’s point of contact for ALN coordination, identifying learners who require additional support during the onboarding process or during their programme.
- Design and implement reasonable adjustments, individual support plans, and learning strategies to ensure training is accessible to all.
- Provide guidance to the wider tutoring and delivery team on best practices for supporting learners with diverse learning needs.
Safeguarding & Learner Wellbeing
Promote a strong culture of safety, inclusivity, and British Values / Prevent duty awareness among staff and learners.
Act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy DSL, taking responsibility for receiving, assessing, and managing safeguarding referrals within the organisation.
Respond swiftly and sensitively to learner wellbeing concerns, making external referrals to relevant agencies or support services when necessary.
Experience
- A recognised teaching or training qualification (e.g., AET, CET, DET, PGCE, or equivalent) is highly desirable but we can support you to achieve this.
- A recognised qualification in Career Guidance (e.g., Level 4 or Level 6 in Advice and Guidance / CIAG) is highly desirable but we can support you to achieve this.
- Proven experience delivering employability training and career coaching within a funded training provider, FE college, or work-based learning environment.
- Direct experience handling safeguarding disclosures and managing referrals.
- Experience identifying, assessing, and coordinating support for individuals with Additional Learning Needs (ALN / SEND).

- Curriculum Design: Ability to create engaging, modern employability resources that align with current job market trends.
- Regulatory Awareness: A strong understanding of Estyn, Ofsted, and funding body expectations surrounding personal development, behavior, and welfare (including Prevent and Safeguarding).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with learners while maintaining professional boundaries.
